Ôn lại mấy câu If clauses:
If more more people rode bikes, there would be fewer cars on the road.= Nếu như có nhiều người dùng xe đạp hơn thì sẽ có ít xe hơi hơn trên đường phố.
If more people rode bikes, there would be less air pollution = Nếu như có nhiều người dùng xe đạp hơn thì sẽ có ít ô nhiễm không khí hơn.
If there were fewer cars on the road, there would be fewer car accidents = Ví thử như nếu có ít xe hơi hơn trên đường phố thì sẽ có ít tai nạn xe hơi hơn.
Ðối với động từ BE ở câu điều kiện giả sử, ta dùng WERE cho tất cả các ngôi. Trong phần tới, quí vị nghe một câu rồi tuỳ ý nghĩa trong bài học mà trả lời, và khi nghe câu trả lời đúng, xin lập lại.
