Cat and Mouse

In one village, there were so many mice sabotaging rice-field. The villagers had to find cats to catch mice. Each cat caught the same amount of mice which was more than the amount of cats. The sum of mice was 10 001. Thus, how many cats were there?

Let "x" is amount of the cat, and each caught "a" mice.
{a>x; a,x>0}
-- ax = 10 001
