CLB Tiếng Anh GALEC 2: Report for Workshop " NEVER GIVE UP" 8/11/2012
Report for Workshop: “Never give up”
Time: 6h30-8h30, Thursday 8/11/2012
Place: Smartlink English Center, No 3, Lane 196 Thai Thinh
(Note: Leave your vehicle at Viettin Bank 196 Thai Thinh)
At 6:30, people sat in a circle and had chances to introduce about themselves. Everyone was very excited to ask others some questions to know more about each toher, which also brought a lot of laughters to the room. Besides, we also organizsed a mini-game to make the atmosphere “hotter”. The game “ Collect money” was quite familiar with old members;, however, everyone still played with the others very excitingly. In And in any game, there were always both winners and losers., Ttherefore, our game was unexceptional.
Seven “unlucky” people became losers and had a punishment: “push-up”. So galantgallant was that 4 boys did the punishment for 3 girls !

After the introduction, people were divided into 4 groups as usual and discussed 5 questions in Free Talkpart two. Maybe, the members cared about our topic : “Never give up” very much so they discussed and shared their experience with each other “loudly”.

And then, one presenter from each group stood up and shared his/her thoughts about the topic.
Firstly, one girl- “ a new face”- from group 4 told the others about her opinion of advantages and disadvantages of the slogan “ Never give up”. With her own personal experience, she made everyone pay a lot of attention to her. And some other guys also had good questions for her.

Next, one boy of group 3 stood up and expressed his opinion ( If anyone was at final Wordstorrom 2012, they would recognizse him immediately !). He gave us a lot of meaningful advises about how not to give up anything too early : “ Many of life”’s failures in life are coming from some people who had not realizsed how close they were to success when they gave up.

Like a lot of people, the next girl also had many problems with the spirit of the slogan “Never give up”. She said that she had tried to keep in mind : “Never give up” but still failed many times. Therefore, she hoped to receive some useful advice from the other memebers. And luckily, a lot of people shared their stories with her to help her raise the spirit.

At last part of the workshop, we had a special discussion for the members. This part was a difficult situation with 3 possible obstacles and people was divided into 3 groups. A lot of laughters went along till the end of the workshop.

The workshop was ended in exciting atmosphere.
