GALEC 2 English Club: Report for Workshop" GETTING MARRIED TO FOREIGNERS" 04/10/2012
Report for Workshop: Getting married to foreigners
Time: 6h30-8h30, Thursday 4/10/2012
Place: Smartlink English Center, No 3, Lane 196 Thai Thinh
(Note: Leave your vehicle at Viettin Bank 196 Thai Thinh)
At 6.30, people had a friendly and warm introduction about themselves. How surprised we are because of so many new GALECers. Everybody was excited with our hot topic, which the reason why this part did not so long.

After that members started the workshop with “standards” to choose their spouse.

GALECers paid much attention to that guy who told about the women he would get married in coming year.

The girl in orange wanted to find a person caring family and doing housework.

There were many men who wanted to get married with foreign girls just because they tended to find new things and to discover new cultures

“What is the secret to a happy marriage with foreigners in your opinion?”

“Name some reasons making the rate of exported Vietnamese brides increase. What are troubles they have met when having such kind of marriage?”

It could not be deniable that the presentation part impressed greatly on GALECers.

Coming to the role-play, GALECers enjoyed wonderful environment with laughs
“You love a foreigner and you think about the marriage with him/her. However, your parents disagree due to big culture differences. How can you persuade them to accept your marriage?”
