Brain Drain in Viet Nam- Tình trạng chảy máu chất xám ở Việt Nam
Many of Viet Nam’s best and brightest are departing for higher-paid jobs in other countries, sparking concern that a brain drain could impede economic progress.
In recent years, the country has seen an increasing number of academics and scientists leave for developed countries. Some people did not return home after being sent by the Government to study abroad and others could not find suitable jobs here. Others left because they were working for foreign-invested enterprises or simply preferred to work abroad. The above information is not all about brain drain phenomenon in Vietnam, let’s come to GLN English club to discuss more with the topic “Brain drain in Vietnam”

2. What are the causes and effects of brain drain?
3. Does brain drain occur in Vietnam? How can we deal with this problem?
4. Can you suggest some solutions to reduce brain drain’s rate in developing countries?
3:30-3.45: Playing game
• Two teams will find the right word on the board as quickly as possible
3.45-4.20: Working in groups
In contrary to high brain drain’s rate in developing countries, brain gain makes a rapid economic growth in developed countries.
What should a country do to have brain gain? Two groups will present their ideas within 10 minutes
4:20-4:30: Mc ends the discussion
