“Thanh niên ơi hồn thiêng núi sông đợi chờ
Nơi tay ta toàn dân ngóng trông từng giờ”(*)
Wael Ghonim (**) đă liệt oanh tuyên bố
“Tôi sẵn sàng chết cho dân chủ tự do”
Dân Tunisia, Egypt đồng loạt hô to
“Hăy giẹp bỏ bất công, độc tài, đảng trị”
Hỡi tuổi trẻ Việt Nam, này anh, này chị
C̣n đợi ǵ không can đảm đứng lên
Hăy nghiên cứu những bài học đấu tranh
Từ sự tan rả của Liên Bang Sô Viết
Bức tường Bá Linh một đêm ngă sập
Ben Ali trốn đi sau một tháng biểu t́nh
Egypt vùng lên trong chiến thắng quang vinh
Sau mười tám ngày loại trừ Mubarak
Cách Mạng Hoa Lài vươn cao chất ngất
Bạo quyền nào vững được ngược ḷng dân
Thanh niên ơi đừng cúi mặt vong thân
Hồn sông núi đă nghẹn lời kêu gọi
Bạn đă thấy chưa bao nhiêu hầm thuốc nổ
Dưới gầm giường của chế độ phi nhân:
“Nào cướp của, tham ô, hoạnh họe người dân
Nào biển đảo, nào Tây nguyên Beauxit
Rừng cho thuê, nhượng đất đai không ít
Cho phép Tàu lủng đoạn kinh tế Việt Nam
Cán bộ, chức quyền mặc sức gian tham
Hàng triệu người dân bữa no bữa đói”
Gương đảm lược của Tiền nhân chói lọi
Thanh niên ơi! Giờ đă điểm! Lên đường!
Đồng một ḷng cùng giải cứu quê hương
Như tuổi trẻ năm xưa tinh thần Yên Báy

YOUTH!
THE SACRED MOMENT HAS COME!
“Youth! Our national sacred spirit is expecting us all
The whole people are counting on us each hour withal”(*)
Wael Ghonim (**) solemnly stated his decision to steady:
“To die for democracy and liberty, I am ready!”
The peoples of Tunisia, Egypt together shouted in bliss:
“Abolish dictatorship, one-party government, injustice!”
Vietnamese youth! you brothers, and you sisters,
Why waiting, not to courageously rise up like twisters?
Study well the struggling against the communist mar,
Those precious lessons in the dissolution of the USSR.
The Berlin Wall only in one night collapsed;
By demonstrators after one month Ben Ali fled the traps;
Egypt revolted and a glorious victory could achieve
Over Mubarack just after eighteen days to upheave.
The Jasmine Revolution succeeded itself to fulfill:
What tyrannical powers survive the people’s will?
Dear youth, do not look down your origin to forget,
Our motherland has called you speechlessly in fret.
Have you seen, huh, how many igloos of dynamite
Right below the bed of the brutal system, the blight:
“Robbery, misappropriation, murder in cold blood,
Landmarks, islands, Central Plateau Bauxite! Dud!
Woodland let out, territorial areas yielded to Chinese
That corner Vietnamese economy, servility to please.
Cadres, authorities’ infinite dishonesty and greed,
Millions of poor folks’ deficiency in minimum need.”
Our ancestors’ examples are radient, courageous, stout;
Dear youth! Our sacred moment has come to start out!
Let us unanimously unite efforts to save our native land
Like previous Yen Bay youth, aggressors to withstand.
