About Jane Austen
Jane Austen lived in England from 1775 to 1817. She wrote six famous books: Persuasion was the last book she wrote before she died.
Her books are about rich families in England at that time and about young people meeting and falling in love.
The names of some other famous books by Jane Austen are Emma, Pride and Prejudice and Mansfield Park.
